ITS Fellowships
Each year, ITS awards a variety of research and writing fellowships to students at various stages of their graduate careers. ITS Fellowships are subject to yearly availablity.
Past fellowships have included Graduate Research Awards, Dissertation Write-Up Awards, and Conference Travel Support Awards.

The Bob Skloot Prize
The Skloot Prize awards $500 to an ITS student to engage in professional research activities such as attending a conference, participating in a scholarly or performance workshop or conducting archival or ethnographic research.
ITS students may apply yearly for the Skloot Prize.

Student Research Grants Competition
Have you been invited to present your research at a conference or do you need additional funds to support research travel in preparation for your dissertation, final exhibition, or thesis? If so, you should consider applying for a Student Research Grants Competition (SRGC) Award. Awards are granted in $600 or $1,500 amounts depending on the number of qualifying expenses listed in the application.
Funding for these awards generously comes from the Vilas Trust and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation.

Students may seek grant funding from their minor or affiliated departments and programs, including LACIS, Gender & Women’s Studies, and more.
