Sydney Curran (she/they) is a first-year PhD student in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies. They are a freshly-minted dramaturg, their most recent production being Thomas Kyd’s The Spanish Tragedy. This role was Sydney’s thesis at Villanova University, where they completed a Masters of Art degree in Theatre. Sydney’s areas of research are trauma theory, early modern revenge tragedies, and queer theatre. She also holds a BA in Theatre Production and Design along with a BA in Creative Writing, which she received when she graduated from Susquehanna University in 2018.
