Olivia Gacka is currently finishing coursework for the Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Theatre Studies. She is an opera and theatre stage director and dramaturg with credits including Next to Normal (Ostrander Award nomination), La traviata, Heathers the Musical, and Missy Mazzoli’s Proving Up. Olivia’s research interests include contemporary & historical Irish theatre, musical theatre, and archive. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Theatre from Rhodes College, and an M.A. in Irish Theatre History and Archives from the National University of Ireland Galway.
