David Logghe is a first year PhD student, having recently completed his MA and MFA at Emerson College in theatre education and applied theatre. He completed his undergraduate program at Eastern Washington University in theatre with an English composition minor. He is a multi-time Irene Ryan nominated actor with extensive community, university, and professional acting credits. He also served as Dramaturg for an Emerson Stage production and directed and produced an all-woman cast in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged over zoom during the pandemic. He was recently published in Artspraxis journal out of NYU for a piece based on his thesis work about teaching theatre to students with anxiety disorders. His research interests included interactions between the church and theatre, lasting effects of verbatim theatre on portrayed communities, and theatre education for students with mental illnesses.
