I’m thrilled to see Discourse Syntax out in the world (with some delay due to pandemic chairing)! I’m most grateful to my co-author, Heidrun Dorgeloh, for not giving up on me when I was drowning in Zoom meetings, English Language & Linguistics Ph.D. candidate — and designer extraordinaire — Difei Zhang for the beautiful cover, and to the CUP team, headed by aquisition editor Helen Barton, for their support throughout the process.
