An interdisciplinary and cross-cultural seminar on the historical, cultural, performative, aesthetic, and ideological construction of acting on stage. This will be a both a theoretical and applied course, putting theories to practice.
This course is enrolled with a combination of graduate and advanced undergraduate students pursuing the Acting Option of the Theatre Major in the Department of Theatre and Drama. [This course meets the Grad 50% – Counts Toward 50% Graduate Coursework Requirement.]
